Vision Trips and Partnership
Many people come to this region to feel close to what transpired here many centuries ago. While seeing places where the events of the Bible took place is a wonderful experience, the JGP encourages people to not just see the “dead stones” of history but meet God’s “living stones” of today. As the worldwide body of Christ, we can learn much from each other. What better opportunity for worship than with fellow believers in the place where the gospel was first preached?
Participating in a JGP vision trip is multifaceted: you will be able to see the historic sites, meet many partners in the region, spend a couple of days working alongside a partner to get to know each other and the local ministry, as well as worship with Christian partners from both cultural backgrounds.
The goal of these vision trips is to encourage relationships to develop between the participants, both foreign and local, which could lead to mutually supporting each other for the furtherance of His kingdom both in the Middle East and “back home.”
Our vision trip task force plans trips regularly that you may want to join, but if your church or ministry is interested in taking a separate vision trip, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to coordinate with you on that possibility.
