While the vision of the JGP is to see the advancement of a church planting movement among Jews and Arabs in the Middle East, we also strongly believe that avenues for ministry should be driven by our host partners in the Middle East. Accordingly, the work of the partnership is now facilitated through four task forces: business as mission, education, faith and works, and vision trips. Each task force seeks to support the work of our host partners, with the desire to see host partners plant churches in unreached regions. Brief summaries of focus areas for each task force are included below:
Business as Mission: We help churches in their own goals to self-supporting and self-propagating, through assisting their members to develop business resources and other means.
Education: We partner with local leadership and grow together in our Biblical understanding and application of the Scriptures in such areas as theological education, evangelism. We also commit to sharing our insights and resources in developing the infrastructure and tools such as planning, education, publishing, and multi-media, necessary for churches to flourish throughout the region for their unity through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Faith and Works: We assist in our host partners’ efforts to love people in word and deed through areas such as counseling, stewardship, mercy ministry, and refugee relief.
Vision Trips: We seek to strengthen the partnership between our host partners in the Middle East and North American believers and churches through leading vision trips that provide the opportunity for personal relationships to develop between them.
